Connor Remes has been immersed in the art world for most of his life. Raised in a collecting family with ties to the board of the Walker Art Center, he was exposed early to the inner workings of museums, galleries, and the broader art ecosystem. This early immersion shaped his path: Remes went on to earn a B.A. in Art History from UCLA and became one of the early adopters of selling art online — a field in which he continues to innovate today, through both his advising practice and the development of a comprehensive artist database. In addition to advising collectors and institutions, Remes is deeply committed to promoting the cultural value of art and making the industry more accessible to everyone. He writes regularly about the arts, publishes informational content, advocates for public engagement with art in all its forms, and consults emerging artists on how to build sustainable careers.
